In order to enforce liberty, there must be a collective entity. That entity must have the means to enforce liberty and that enforcement capability is generally funded by taxes.
But tax is the confiscation of work product - which is a form of slavery, in the most basic sense.
How do we get around this paradox?

Tue, May 4, 2004 - 9:13 PMWe can eliminate the income tax. There are other methods of taxation that do not equate to servitude as long as it's kept in check.
Maintaining accountabiity is really the problem.
